From 2020, we attempt to use a new format for updating the Saaraakassh events that take place regularly. Instead of a few photographs which sometimes do not capture the complete essence of the event/program conducted, we are now happy to introduce a slideshow to help our viewers get a holistic and better perspective of the events conducted by us. Of course it might happen so that some photos may be from previous events that took place and could be a repetition to the viewers. Bear with us on the same.
On 14th December 2019, two parallel programs were conducted by the Saaraakassh team at Karpatwadi village. The first program conducted was the Ayurvedic Medical Camp by Dr. Niraj Dandekar of Aarogyakiran and his team of 4 dedicated doctors . 124 villagers were examined and free distribution of medicines was done on the same day itself!
The other program was the SPNF [Sudhir Palekar Natural Farming ] program where Nilam Tai talked to the villagers on natural farming methods so as to help them generate more income through better farming practices.
This day also marked the completion of the work that the Trust had undertaken of the complete restoration and refurbishment of the Zilla Parishad school kitchen shed and toilets which had till then been in a dilapidated and unused condition. Both are now in excellent working condition which will be beneficial for the children.
This day also marked the 74th birthday of one of our biggest and most consistent donors of Saaraakassh, Shri. Sudhir Polekar. On the occasion of entering his 75th year he wanted to celebrate it differently. And hence goodie food boxes were distributed to all the children of Karpatwadi and Pezwadi which were enjoyed thoroughly by them.
