We did a Onam lunch fund raising event in Sept'23. This was a huge success with 200 people attending the event. The event also showcased the products like Honey, Mahua oil, Dant manjan and bags made by the Adivasis.

With the blessings of Monsoon already showering, saaraakassh trust undertook distribution of various vegetable seeds like Bitter gourd (karela), Brinjal (Wangi), Ridge Gourd (Shirali), Bottle Gourd (Dudhi bhopla), Cucumber (kakadi), Black pumpkin (Dangar), Corn (makka) to various villages where the Trust is currently working.
In addition to this financial help was also provided to very poor and marginal farmers for purchase of fertilizers and equipment for tilling & spraying natural organic pesticides.

Saaraakassh Trust reached out in 2 villages on 21st April 2023 where we distributed Solar lamps to remaining villagers of Karpatwadi, Sholapuri Chaddars to handicapped people, widows, and senior citizens, in two villages and Dant manjan to all children. This Dant manjan is a Saaraakassh product prepared with Agnihotra ash and 9 ayurvedic ingredients. The distribution in 4 more villages is going to be done over the next week.
A total of 55 patients were checked and given medicines.
Checking almost 150 people !!! Free medicines were given to 99 beneficiaries
Villagers everyehere hoisted the Tiranga with pride and joy.

The camp helped villagers collect documents, and apply for Pan and aadhar card and also for corrections in their existing cards.
With this 400 plus Adivasi homes have been given Solar lamps and have been lit up.
This was our Tamasoma Jyotirgamaya project to bring light to the adivasi villages having erratic electric supply.
The Tauktae cyclone brought in its wake lot of devastation. Many of the adivasi villages in the Murbad belt sufferred severe damages to their modest homes. Saaraakassh Trust did seva by doing 'Kaul' distribution drive across 5 adivasi villages. 8500 rooftiles were distributed in the presence of gram sevaks and respective sarpanchs.
Community hall and Vithal Rakhumai temple built at Karpatwadi. This was one of the steps undertaken for building positivity and togetherness amongst the surrounding villages.

Saaraakassh Trust completed project 'Jal' in the adivasi village of Karpatwadi. The perennial water problem was finally resolved and now the village has 16 waterpipes with sufficient water at their doorstep.
Saaraakassh Trust distributed 40 cycles to the children of Karpatwadi adivasi village donated by families across Mumbai.

Our humble journey of 5 years has been showcased in this video on the occasion of our Fifth Foundation Day on October 2nd 2020. Much gratitude to each and everyone who helped us serve better and better.
Starting with the fourth round of grocery distribution in July, the trust built a shed for an ancient 200 year old Devi temple which resides in the forest area just behind Karpatwadi village, on the request of the villagers.
In the second half of June 2020, in 5 adivasi villages, Saaraakassh distributed almost 6000 Kauls ( Roof Tiles) to those villagers whose houses were badly damaged by the Nisarga Cyclone. Also another round of monthly rations and groceries was distributed in 8 Adivasi padas. (This is the third round of groceries since Lockdown).
In these difficult times of COVID 19, the adivasis, many of whom are daily wage labourers, were struggling to meet ends. Saaraakassh reached out to adivasi families across eleven villages and full month groceries were provided in the months of both April and May. The ex- sarpanch of karpatwadi village, upa sarpanch of Karpatwadi and one police official oversaw the distribution of the grocery supplies to the villagers. Door to door distribution was also undertaken keeping social distancing in mind.
On Republic Day, 26th January 2020, the Saaraakassh team conducted a Mega Eye Camp for the tribal adivasis of 8 villages. This was done in association with Essilor Vision a Bengaluru based organization. Abhijeet Kulkarni of Optifocus and his team were the professionals who managed the checkups end to end.
On 14th December 2019, two parallel programs were conducted by the Saaraakassh team at Karpatwadi village. The first program conducted was the Ayurvedic Medical Camp by Dr. Niraj Dandekar of Aarogyakiran and his team of 4 dedicated doctors . 124 villagers were examined and free distribution of medicines was done on the same day itself!
On 20th October 2019, Saaraakassh finally launched its dream project: the P4 series; Pudchi Pidhi, Pudcha Paul with the children of Pezwadi where in the first brief session of the upcoming Lifeskills workshops of the P4 series was undertaken. On 20th October 2019, Saaraakassh Trust arranged a talk on Agnihotra and its benefits to the environment by Mr. Ranjanrao Kalwai who explained the process in a simple yet effective manner to the villagers of Pezwadi.
On 19th October 2019, Saaraakassh arranged a formal get together at the third village, Karpatwadi, where it has now begun work in earnest. The village arranged for a cultural program where in dances, songs, drama skits on relevant social issues was performed by the talented children of the village itself. Saaraakassh had arranged talks by speakers Mr. Ranjanrao Kalwai and Mr. Patil on Vyasanmukti and benefits of Agnihotra to help save the environment. Despite heavy rains the villagers had gathered in large numbers and made the program a success.

On October 2nd 2019, Saaraakassh Trust took part in “Samanvay” an exhibition organized for NGOs to showcase their products by the Rotary Club , Midtown Dombivili. Products of Saaraakassh included Table mats made by children and Honey, Mahu oil and Bamboo products bought from the adivasis of the Pezwadi and Karpatwadi villages. Guardian School's 6th visit on March 2nd, 2019 to Pezwadi village where the Scout and Guide students and other students did a complete cleanup drive.
5th visit of Guardian School in 6, December 2018. Students of Guardian School conducted science experiments, drawing activities with the students of Pezwadi, Karpatwadi and Fangane villages. Also the counselors from Guardian school spoke to the students of various issues to build their self confidence and leadership skills.
Medical Camp was conducted as three doctors arranged by Guardian School visited our adivasi village Pezwadi . Villagers from nearby villages such as Karpatwadi and Fangane also attended the camp. Around 90 people were examined by general physician, dentist and ENT specialist.
Saaraakassh Trust, for the first time, took part in an exhibition organised by Rotary organisation for showcasing adivasi products. The adivasi products from the villages of Pezwadi and Karpatwadi were kept for sale where the trust is doing immense work on sanitation, malnutrition and education. The exhibition was held on October 2nd 2018 in Dombivli.

Shital Ravi of Saaraakassh Trust was invited as the Chief Guest at Duttnagar Utkarsh Mandal , Dombivili for their Ganpati Celebrations to talk and share about Saaraakassh Trust Activities with the members of the Mandal. The Mandal also came ahead with a valuable contribution of Rs.10000/- to the Trust.
